If you want to get the workshop materials up on e-wave.wikispaces.com, first join the space (An invitation should have arrived in your email box. If not, let me know).
Then,
Find the New Page option on the left.
Give your page a short, descriptive name
Start typing and pasting in the work space. If you are using Firefox on either platform, you should see a limited set of formatting options above.
Be careful with three options:
The link tool is the common icon but it allows for two kinds of links: wiki links (to other wiki pages that already exist or that you will create (using that exact name!) and external (url) links (as well as email & ftp links).
The upload file option looks like an image icon but it uploads all manner of file types. Once you get your image or other file uploaded, you have to double-click it to get it into the page you are editing/creating. I recommend that any large media file be stored on another web server and linked to from your wiki page.
There is an Widget section (the TV icon) that gives you all manner of media options (video, audio, ...). But you need to have your media stored elsewhere and have the .html embed code handy to paste into the wikispace form. I used the following code to embed players for some audio. Paste in the url to your audio in all 5 places where you see "audio_sample.mp3." Leave the quotes.
